OUR HISTORY

The Franklin Gemstone and Jewelry Warehouse originated as Gemstones of Miami over 44 years ago and moved to Franklin 42 years ago as the Gemstones of Miami - Blue Ridge Mining Division. This was strictly a wholesale business dealing in global gemstones and rough gemstone rock.

The company was owned by Ken Adams. Ken had traveled all over the world forming his unmatched collection of gemstones, rocks, and minerals.

August 2004 Ken asked his daughter Diane Adams Aiello and her husband Tom Aiello to take over the business. That was when Gemstones of Miami became Franklin Gemstone & Jewelry Warehouse and the jewelry retail outlet and the rock shop were incorporated into the operation.

At first folks had a hard time spotting the place because it was a small white non-descript rectangular warehouse. We'd say, "It's across the street from the Exxon Station on 441." The last straw was when a potential customer stood across the street at the Exxon Station and claimed she couldn't find it. At that point we realized our store was invisible. So...we painted it purple. Now everyone tells us they can't miss it. We put in a window also, so our storefront is no longer a wall with a door in it. Things are shaping up. Come see! We're friendly Christian folks and will probably offer you a cup of coffee if you come early enough.
