This sun stone sterling silver pendant measures 56 mm from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant. The gemstone itself measures 33 mm X 29 mm. This large sun stone glistens and glimmers in the light. The sterling silver wire wrapped setting sports sterling silver 3 wire draping under the bail and across the top of the stone. The draping continues to the back of the pendant making the back of the pendant nearly as attractive as the front. There is a photo of both the front and the back of the pendant. The bail on the pendant is 10 mm making it easy to slide this pendant on to a large chain or omega. This piece was handcrafted by Diane. Diane has been wire crafting for 5 years and has been making jewelry for 40 years. Many of the gemstones used in her work were collected by her father from around the world over a 40 year year period. Many are local gemstones to the mountains of North Carolina and some of those have been mined in those mountains by Diane herself.
