Citrine Pendant Sterling Silver

The 30 carat golden emerald-cut citrine is set in sterling silver jewelry wire that has been hand twisted to add sparkle.  Three twisted wires on each side at the top of the pendant swirl around to form a medium-sized heart and then a scarf-like drape at the top of the pendant.  The pendant measures 42 mm from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant.  One photo shows the intricate work on the bail of this pendant.

This item was handcrafted by Diane.  Diane has been wire crafting for 5 years and has been making jewelry for 40 years.  Many of the gemstones used in her work were collected by her father from around the world over a 40 year year period.  Many are local gemstones to the mountains of North Carolina and some of those have been mined in those mountains by Diane herself.
